Sugarloaf in the summer time is a natural wonderland.The Sugarloaf Golf Course offers mountain golfing at its best. Flagstaff Lake, Maine's 4th largest, is a little known pristine wonder! The Carrabassett River gives way to secret swimming holes and natural water slides. A section of the Appalachian Trail traverses Sugarloaf and the surrounding mountain ranges. Hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking and fishing are just some of the favorite summer time activies. Scenic byways offer relaxing country driving experiences with beautiful vistas around every corner.
