FAQ

Where do we check-in?

Coming from the south, check in at our office located in the gray building at Valley Crossing on Route 27, 8 miles north of Kingfield center. From the north we are approximately 6 miles south on Route 27 of the Sugarloaf access road

When is check-in time?

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Requests for early check-in and late check-out will be accomodated when possible.

What if we arrive before or after office hours?

For guests arriving before or after regular office hours, a complete welcome package will be left in our outside cupboard located to the right of our front door. The package contains everything needed to get settled into your unit including keys, directions, emergency contacts, etc. We make sure the heat is up and lights are on in time for your arrival no matter when that might be. Be sure to call with your arrival time so we can accomodate you.

 

We would love to bring along our pet dog. Do you have any pet friendly accomodations?

Generally our policy is no pets but we do have some units that allow dogs. There is no extra deposit required for having a pet, however any damage caused by a pet would be charged accordingly to the credit card on file.

Are there any smoking units available?

All of our units are non-smoking.

What if we need to cancel our reservation?

VACATION & HOLIDAY week reservations cancelled prior to 60 days will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee. If the reservation is cancelled within 60 days of arrival, we reserve the right to collect 50% of the total reservation.

RESERVATIONS FOR ALL OTHER TIME FRAMES cancelled prior to 21 days of arrival will be subject to a $25 processing fee. If the reservation is cancelled within 21 days of arrival, we reserve the right to collect 50% of the total reservation.  

 How many cars can we bring to the mountain?

Only 2 cars per reserved condominium are permitted. An overflow parking lot is available on mountain for any additional vehicles in a party.

Is a damage deposit required?

We require a credit card in order to confirm a reservation. The card number will be kept on file with your reservation and will be charged to cover any and all damages incurred by your tenancy. Excessive cleaning will be considered a form of damage.

 What can we expect to find for amenities in our unit?

All units are fully equipped for your enjoyment and include a basic kitchen setup as well as set up with linens, bath towels, kitchen towels, soap & paper products. Please make any special needs known and we'll do our best to accomodate you. All units have televisions with cable in the living room along with a VCR, and many with DVD players. Most units have televisions in the master bedroom and some in additional bedrooms. All units have local telephone service. Many are upgrading to include internet service. Wireless internet is available at the Snowbrook Village Pool house, the Sugarloaf Base Lodge, and the Sugartree Health Center. 

If we need certain items during our stay (towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc) how do we request them?

A simple call to Mountain Valley Property is all that is required. The best time to call is in the morning prior to10:00 a.m. so our housekeepers can arrive with the items you need.

An item fails to work during our stay. What do we do?

If you have an appliance that fails do work, a clogged toilet, no hot water, etc., please call Mountain Valley as soon as possible. Our phones are answered 24/7. The sooner we know about the problem, the sooner we can fix it, ensuring an enjoyable visit for you.
